The hour before the hour
Everything on this page happens before you sit down: the asking, the agreeing, and the getting here. None of it is complicated, but a first appointment goes better when both sides already know the same things.
The messageWhat to put in the first one
The quickest route is the request on the front page: it asks for the four things we need and nothing else, and it comes back to you with a reference the same second. If you would rather just write, the address is bookings@lilyhairsalon.shop and these are the lines worth including.
- WhatA cut, a cut and a finish, or colour. “Not sure yet” is a perfectly good answer and we will work it out between us.
- WhenThe shape of your week rather than one exact slot — weekday mornings, or Saturday after midday. It is far easier to find a time inside a window.
- How longIf you have a hard stop that day, say so in the first message. It changes what can sensibly be attempted.
- Colour historyWhether anything has been put on your hair before, and whether you have ever had a skin test with us. That one decides whether the first visit can be the colour visit.
No published hoursA time, agreed, in writing
There is no opening-hours table on this site, and leaving one off is deliberate rather than an omission. Lily Hair Salon Ltd is newly incorporated: it is one chair being filled an appointment at a time, so a printed timetable would be a guess dressed up as a fact, and the first person to turn up on the strength of it would find a locked door.
What happens instead is simpler and harder to get wrong. You say roughly when suits, we answer with a time we can actually keep, and the appointment exists once that has been written down by both of us. Nothing is held on the strength of a form alone.

Lee House sits on Oldham Road at the Ancoats end of the city centre, a few minutes’ walk north-east of the Northern Quarter. The registered office and the correspondence address are the same place; there is no second site and no second company.

Two questionsWorth asking before you travel
First: does what you want need a skin test? If colour is any part of it and you have not had one with us, the first visit is the test and the colour comes later. Asking that by email costs nothing and saves a wasted journey.
Second: how long have you actually got? Where the minutes go sets out the working figures, and the adder on the front page turns them into a span for whatever you are considering. If the span does not fit your afternoon, we would both rather know now.
